Hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body, is delivered in to the lips using a clever tool called the Hyaluronic Pen.
The pen uses air to push the Hyaluronic Acid in to the lips to create a fuller lip look.
The procedure is quick and the results are immediate.
History of need free injection
The first air powered needle-free injection systems were developed during the 1940’s for mass administration of vaccines of US soldiers and had remained dormant until the past few years when it has been adopted by the beauty industry as an alternative way of administering filler in aesthetics.
The device has become very popular way of creating fuller lips in Germany, Switzerland & USA.
This really simple tool reached the UK recently and the results have been fantastic.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the human body – it acts as a magnet, drawing in and retaining moisture in a binding process that instantly improves skin’s hydration levels. Each molecule has the ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water
What is the procedure?
At consultation we will discuss what effects want to be achieved.
Perhaps the client only wants to create a more even look. Some clients have a thin top lip but are happy with the size of their bottom lip.
While other clients just want a fuller plumper look all over.
We then sterilise the skin and insert the desired amount of Hyaluronic Acid in to the lips using the Hyaluronic Pen.
The Pen generates just enough pressure to push the filler in to the skin without the use of a needle.
What visible effects can they offer?
As you age, your lips will become thinner as they lose volume – a process that usually starts occurring from your late twenties! Some people are also born with thinner lips, something they may not consider attractive and seek to change; introducing small quantities of ha filler can enhance the appearance of the lips, mainly by changing its shape and size.
Will I have a natural look?
Yes. We are firm believers of using only the highest quality and the most advanced range of products, which includes our fillers. This ensures natural-looking results that include reshaped lips and subtle volume where needed. Our products also offer great elasticity, so the fillers move with your facial expressions for a natural, soft look.
How long do lip fillers last?
The exact duration will vary from person to person since everyone is different. However, you can expect a duration of 2 to 6 months.
You will be able to see immediate results, as our lip filler treatments provide an instant effect – however, you will see even better results as the HA settles and integrates with your facial tissue. You can also amend the look and alter it over time, as HA fillers are not permanent.
Who can undergo this procedure?
Most people are suitable candidates for the lip filler treatment, but you will be able to discuss your medical history during an initial consultation. This will help our professional team to advise on the best treatment for you. YOU MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 18 AND ID WILL BE REQUIRED
Do needles-less lip filler treatments hurt?
There is no need to numb the area before treatment. You will feel a sensation as the HA enters the skin, but it doesn’t particularly hurt.
This area will swell up a little, however, and you may see some bruising (which should go away after a few days). Due to this, you may want to schedule your procedure ahead of time if you’re looking to undergo it for a special occasion, as there may be some downtime.
How long does it take?
The procedure from start to finish is around 30 – 40 minutes and the results are immediate.
